Microphone not working in Google Meet

Meet says the microphone is blocked — where is that setting?
That message comes from the browser, not Meet. Click the camera/mic icon at the right of the address bar (or the lock icon → Site settings), set Microphone to Allow for meet.google.com, and reload the tab. Meet cannot override a browser-level block.
